After losing out to Michael Van Gerwen in the night four final, Aspinall claimed his first nightly win after defeating Peter Wright in the quarters, followed by Luke Humphries in the semis, leaving him fourth in the current league table, only behind MVG, Luke Littler and the man he defeated in tonight’s final Rob Cross.

The Stockport man has seemingly found his rhythm after losing his first three fixtures on the bounce, to now having back-to-back finals, he is just the third player to claim a nightly win this season with Michael Smith taking the opener and MVG taking the next three in a row.
